RenderWonderland is a community of fantasy and science fiction writers, which showcases members' prose or poetry, highlights events concerning these genres on dA (and occasionally the outside world), and creates an environment for writers to meet other fellow members.

To join this organization, please scroll to the end of the journal, where the Joining/Submissions Process link is located. It's no fuss, just simple.



Unfortunately (and strangely), the title of 'RenderWonderland' was also taken. Therefore, the chatroom has been dubbed the second option, #PenInMyTea! Spread the word and join in!





Challenges are called 'challenges' for a reason!

A fellow member, , wrote a fantasy piece entitled E-less.

(She mentions that this is sort of a lipogram--except that her version makes sense ).

Yes--you got it! This piece contains absolutely NO words containing the letter 'e'!


This Is Your Gauntlet:

Write a short-story or poem devoid of 'e's (speculative fiction, of course).
Prompt: The alter-ego. This can be your alter-ego, or that of a character that belongs to you (no fanfiction, please).
There is no minimum or maximum, but don't be cheap!
Deadline: July 11th (tentative)



Prizes (any type) would be nice (to increase the morale of the potential challenger ), if this does take the face of a mini-competition. There will be a vote for the Most Engaging and 'Common-Sensical' piece (1st and 2nd place). Victors and Challengers will be featured in a news article.

Render's previous method of holding a copy of your submissions in our gallery was inefficient in giving you the spotlight you deserve--one of the goals of this club. Therefore, a better format has been adopted, many thanks to the suggestions of `ATrue ! From now on, a link to your work will be provided in the club's deviation, along with a critique notification (if you request this in your deviation or note). (You're probably saying, "It's about time!!!" )

This transition will gradually be added to previous submissions.

Yes, Render still needs administrators--a Public Relationsand an Interior Designer Admin! The responsibilities of these positions are not strictly definite; the execution of these jobs are at the discretion of the member holding it.

Administrators will discuss future events for the club and will assist each other in gaining resources or news. The aim is to make this experience as light, painless, and fun as possible.
